掛斷電話，萊特恩趕緊回到家，將有關機器生命失控的消息上傳到網(wǎng)上。

短短2天的時間，機器生命失控的事情在網(wǎng)上鬧得沸沸揚揚，平博士刷到消息后，連忙在演講會上澄清自己。

平：“我平·史密斯在這里解釋一下，我所研發(fā)的機器生命沒有任何問題?！?/p>

“所以那些機器失控的原因到底是什么？”艾諾克舉手問道。

"So what is the reason for those Robo going out of control?" Aynock raised his hand and asked.

平：“那些跟我沒關系，可能是黑客，也可能是用戶的問題，我測試過很多遍都沒事，這肯定不是我的原因。機體損壞，別來找我。”

艾諾克吐槽：“好一個離柜概不負責?！?/p>

提前裝備好藍色卡牌的愛瑞斯，在平博士走后，悄悄用[迷惑幻象]進入隱形狀態(tài)，緊隨其后。

愛瑞斯一路追蹤平博士，來到他的秘密基地。平博士坐在基地的科研室里，繼續(xù)修改著機器生命的代碼。

“時候不早了，我得趕快了，要不然等有人發(fā)現(xiàn)我的目的，就不好辦了?！逼揭贿呎f著，一邊敲打鍵盤，這一次，他要讓自己的野心更進一步，“等著吧，等我發(fā)動人機大戰(zhàn)，這座城里的貧困戶，將會被徹底清除?！?/p>

"It's getting late, I've to hurry, otherwise it won't be easy to do it when someone finds out about my purpose." Ping said as he tapped on the keyboard, this time, he wanted to take his ambition further, "Wait, when I launch a Human-Robo war, the poor households in this city will be completely eliminated."

這句話被愛瑞斯聽得清清楚楚，她趕緊走出科研室，朝出口的方向走去。愛瑞斯在撤離過程中，不小心碰倒了客廳的桌子，桌子上的金屬杯在落地時，發(fā)出了非常明顯的聲響。

“誰在客廳？”平博士到客廳查看情況，他見客廳并無他人，轉身向科研室走去。

愛瑞斯以為自己只要保持安靜，平博士就發(fā)現(xiàn)不了自己，但她卻發(fā)現(xiàn)平博士已經佩戴好了熱成像儀。

平：“別躲了，隱身也沒用，我知道你在哪？”

平博士緩緩走向愛瑞斯，愛瑞斯想，反正自己也被發(fā)現(xiàn)了，便打算放手一搏。愛瑞斯召喚出重力光鉗，夾住平博士。平博士輕輕松松地掙脫了愛瑞斯的控制，他向后滑行幾米，并在愛瑞斯剛邁步的時候，遠程推開了愛瑞斯。

Dr. Ping slowly approached Ayrith. Ayrith thought that since he had already been discovered, he might as well go all out. Ayrith summoned gravity tongs to grab Dr. Ping. Dr. Ping effortlessly broke free from Ayrith's control, sliding back a few meters. Just as Ayrith took a step forward, Dr. Ping pushed Ayrith away from a distance.

平博士在愛瑞斯剛起身的那一刻，在她頭頂施加壓力，愛瑞斯被壓得動彈不得。平博士打算就此解決眼前自己野心的妨礙者，但他空蕩的肚子，卻向他發(fā)出了午餐邀請。對于平來說，對手什么的，也沒吃飯重要，便收回技能，走向廚房。
